Along historic Route 66 between Kingman and Seligman, Arizona lies Peach Springs. This small town actually served as the inspiration for Radiator Springs in the Pixar film Cars. In fact, at the Grand Canyon Caverns just east of this town is an homage to the film with vehicles resembling the “cast” of characters.
Peach Springs is also the capital of the Hualapai Nation and the gateway to the west rim of the Grand Canyon and the Skywalk. Even though the town is populated, there are many abandoned and run-down buildings.
