Whilst on my northern Arizona road trip, I drove up to Jerome (between Sedona and Prescott.) Surpisingly, I had never been here in all my years living in Flagstaff. This quasi-ghost town is built into the mountain atop Cleopatra Hill, and, seriously, some of the buildings look as though a good wind would send them toppling. Jerome is supposed to be haunted, but I wasn’t planning on hanging around until nightfall.
“The undiscovered places that are interesting to me are these places that contain bits of our disappearing history, like a ghost town.” ~ Random Riggs
