Her heart was fractured
Now it’s broken clean through
You have no idea
What your callous words do
You implore that you love her
And then put her down
Claim you want her, you need her
As you push her around
You chastise, punish
Lecture, and scold
Then act surprised
When to you she turns cold
She resolves she’s finished
With your relentless abuse
The torment you cause
Makes her yearn for a noose
Her emotions are raw
While the blood is congealed.
The damage you’ve done
Cannot simply be healed

“I’m a fountain of blood. In the shape of a girl.” ~ Bjork
